User's notes

The invasive plant in this location has been treated since 2011. Photo and location supplied by Bob Hodgson who has written the current status description "The first Spanish Heath we treated (2011) was cut and daubed as plants were quite large. Since then we have pulled them and placed all material in a heap which has now rotted right down. No new plants have emerged from this heap. Only on one occasion has there been flowers on any plant since. The plant was only about 10 cm high and most were buds not open flowers. Since that time we have been closely monitored the sites and have rubbed up and down any plant with 1:1 glyphosate (sponge daubers) whilst holding the top of the plant. This has proved successful."
