There are only two species of Amyema like this in the local area. In miquelii, all the flowers in a group of three have their own stalk. In pendula, the less common species, the middle flower is stalkless, attached directly to the straight bar that runs across the top of the triad at the top. The two outer flowers are attached to the bar by short stalks.
