At this time of year Elms in are a favoured food of Superb parrots feeding young in Goorooyaroo Nature Reserve - a good species to plant if you want Superb's in your garden

Mike at the moment Superb Parrots are rarely using Woden, but they were rare across the whole ACT prior to 2005. I think their use in gardens should be encouraged, but would remove them from a reserve, even though spread is pretty slow
