Significant sighting

16 Jan 2017

Mauve Burr Daisy is listed as vulnerable nationally and in NSW - it is yet to be recorded in the ACT

Author's notes

Confident of the identification - very glandular hairy. Quite a lot of it in rocky areas near where Schofield FT crosses Nungar Creek. Also scattered over the western end of Nungar Plain where there are small rock outcrops or on old pig diggings (seems to favour open areas with exposed soil).

Yep, I should probably put the record in to the OEH Atlas as well. There's actually a lot of it in KNP, so you have to wonder about the validity of the listing.
