Significant sighting

michaelb noted:
28 Oct 2015

This is a significant sighting because we have found an apparently healthy population of approximately 100 of these rare plants, growing in a situation where they would not be expected. It is an exceptionally weedy area, where the main understory plant is African Lovegrass. It is also a very public place, which lots of people pass through, and there is plenty of rubbish strewn about by them. This finding emphasises the importance of the Murrumbidgee River Corridor as a nature reserve.
