User's notes

This mum superb was insistently and loudly harried by her young ones for food. She eventually coughed up dinner for one only (!), resulting in the other becoming louder and more pleading. Both young crowded mum to the point where she kept moving along the branch, searching for her own space (hmmmm - this is too familiar . . . not that I'm anthropomorphising . . .) , and then flying off, closely followed, of course, by her young ones. Later that evening, a flock of 10 - 15? came in, with more young calling for food.

Thanks LisaH - Federal Golf Course seems to be utilised in a similar way to Mt Rogers in the north, both seem to be nursery areas for raising recently fledged chicks

Hi Michael, there have been a number of Superb Parrots in Erindale recently as well, at least 1 begging young amongst them. Around the oval beside the Active Leisure Centre
