User's notes

I heard a commotion, and found a pair of rainbow lorikeets in and around a known gang gang hollow. On branches near the hollow were a male and female gang gang, growling and hissing. Also there was a galah, making an occasional squawk, and which then flew off. The gang gangs swooped and flew at the lorikeets, including flying at them in the hollow. The lorikeets then flew to a hollow in another tree. The male gang gang continued to swoop the lorikeetsin the nearby tree. I thought the altercation was done and dusted, won by the gang gangs and walked off. I heard further ruckus, and found that the lorikeets had returned to the original hollow, and they then chased the gang gangs away. I watched sadly as the gang gangs were dispatched higher and higher in the tree, further and further away from the hollow.
