Tallish daisy, just finished flowering, flowers persisting on long stalks with some leafs off the stalk. Suspect Podolepis jaceoides?

I think you will need to hope it comes up again next year and catch it while it is flowering. If it is in the Podolepis jaceoides group, it will probably have to be identified using a journal article. There are a couple of newly described species that it might be in that case.
