Hi Ruth Image 3 looks like Bromus catharticus; image 1 looks like it may be Festuca arundinacea (Tall Fescue); 2 has both? Can you please separate them.
Does that help or do you need more - there is lots of it. I would expect to see some tall fescue amongst it, as when the path was put in a few years ago, the contractors planted some grasses along each edge. The path is close by, I could easily dig up a whole plant and get new photos - it has strong, rounded stems, a very coarse plant.
Hi Ruth You still have 2 grasses on the one sighting. Photo 1 looks like it may be Festuca arundinacea. Photo 2 looks like Bromus catharticus. I don't think we need you to dig up a whole plant.
We need a separate sighting for the second grass. Could you crop the photo which had the 2 grasses together to remove the Bromus catharticus, and put in with the 1st photo. Then put in a separate sighting for Bromus catharticus.
