Author's notes

Doesn’t appear to be in the asteraceae sections of the Cosgrove Molonglo Valley Or Plants of the ACT guides. Would appreciate an ID. Large population but under threat from African Lovegrass encroachment.

Nic - I think I know this population and have worried for years about the ALG and other nasties (Verbascums, Erodiums) invading from the edges.

The easiest way to distinguish it from Leucochrysum albicans subsp. tricolor at least from photos is by the stems and leaves - green and hairless to sparsely hairy in Rhodanthe anthemoides or whitish to grey with dense tangled hairs (woolly) in Leucochrysum albicans. Try my free app Plants of South Eastern New South Wales.

Thanks for the ID. @Pinnacle, we have scheduled control work to target the ALG invading this site. @BettyDonWood, I've added the app, it's working well, cheers.
