Appears to have lost a lot of fat/muscle from tail - perhaps a very old or sick individual?

Hi WillO. Too true. We caught it 200m away on the firetrail last Wednesday - by far the thinnest goanna we have caught so far, out of 42. But it is coming out of winter now and has a chance to bulk up if it can catch enough food this spring.
