Exoristinae; possibly one of the genera in the (non-monophyletic) 'Sturmiini' sensu Crosskey, 1973. Similar, at least superficially, to specimens of Tritaxys spp. and Polychaeta spp. I've seen in collections, although there's barely any reliably identified photos of these online. These are some of the best photos I've seen on this site in terms of attention to detail, although unfortunately, as is usually the case with field photos of these flies, there's several characters on the undersides and face which are obscured, and there's a few setae missing (likely broken off during its lifetime). Its likely to be a lepidopteran parasitoid.

I wrote out a really long explanation (as an edit of my first comment) of all the characters, and gave my compliments to the photographer about their attention to detail, but this was lost by the system when I posted it (probably because it was too long). Thank you both, i am using an old camera ( 40D ) but will be updating soon so should get better results then. I have added one more pic, maybe showing the underside better? No front on shots though.
