Author's notes

This is probably a nesting hollow. One of pair was completely inside when I arrived (photo 3), then emerged to join the other on the edge. At this point there were around 50 corellas in this area, but in the next ten minutes hundreds more arrived to roost, mainly from the direction of Davidson Trig, with lesser numbers of Sulphur-crested Cockatoos mostly coming from the south.
