User's notes

The ant was difficult to photograph in any detail being around 5mm in size and very active. Sighted on a handrail in ANBG's Rainforest Gully.

Hi Tim, this ant also looks a bit like Technomyrmex, but 5mm sounds a on the big side, so can't be too sure. Cheers, Jon

Thanks for this and the various other identifications Jon. With these smaller ants I'll try and include some type of scale measurement into future images to help identification.
