Author's notes

Seen along the road to Tidbinbilla (sorry, location is approximate). At least a few hundred, together with smaller numbers of Galahs, and at least one Corella. (*Note from Moderator: count updated to best estimate ^RC)

Wonder if that corella could be a long-billed. Red seems darker and more prominent than I would expect from a Little though its hard to tell from the photo.
Also could you put in an estimate instead of the 101-1000 range as it's too big a range to really be helpful for birds :)

Ryu I would agree that the corella is a long-billed.

I would also agree, i have zoomed in all the way to the bird and the upper mandible is long.

Hi Ryu, as mentioned in my comment, at least a few hundred, so I will say 350, but obviously that is approximate. Thanks for the specific ID of the Long-billed Corella guys :)
(Ryu, do you want a separate entry for the LbC?).

Hi Christine
It appears that this is the first record of one in the ACT west of Bullen Range (the only 2 other records SW of the ACT are in Tharwa). So I think well worth reporting.
