The images show two ants sighted outside the external cover of vegetable and soil matter over a forage way up a tree, as recorded in previous sighting 4223447. The first 4 images are of one ant and the final image shows the second ant. Thanks to Marcus Leach for the initial sighting of the ants.

Hi Tim, these are good photos of Monomorium kiliani, which seems to be fairly common in dry Eucalypt forest. You can tell that it is not Papyrius because it has two bumps between the body and abdomen (gaster), known as the petiole and post-petiole, while Papyrius just has one bump, the petiole. Cheers, Jon
