An immature puffball. I can't quite grasp the size. I get the impression it's smallish, but could you give a rough idea of how big it is. Are you able to photograph it again, to see what it's like when mature and with the powdery spores present?

Many thanks. It was about 10cm wide. I thought it was a puffball of some sort. I will try and check it again next weekend.
