I'm not sure if these are buds yet to open or if they have been chewed by something. The tips look a bit ragged, but too fuzzy to be sure. Anyway I hope you can go back and check them later to see what happens. It looks like Aaron's Hill is quite an orchid hotspot!
Agree Cath, plus more and more I'm thinking the actual stems are NOT from the orchid leaved are just a coincidence of something else shooting up very close to the leaves..
Diplodium has separate flowering and non-flowering plants. What you are seeing is mostly leaf rosettes of non-flowering plants and a few flowering stems coming up beside them.
