Aaron has started something! C. clivicola, cornuta, hybrid ? -- I leave to the experts...

Great to know there are more! This is C. clivicola. Especially in image 1, you can see the inflorescence is tapered towards the top and the upper flowers are very short - typical of this species. Those of cornuta are longer, and all the flowers are of similar length. See, eg, https://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Sightings/Details/2459688. This sighting also shows the leaf tip right up near the flowers. In C. clivicola it is lower on the stem. It is very helpful to include a picture showing the leaf tip, or at least mention it in the notes.

fantastic Peter; great finding! I didn't expect any of the autumn flowering orchids will be flowering this autumn given the dry conditions and massive grazing of any remaining herbal layer...
