First pic is ants congregated at this spot and seemingly not moving at all, second pic is in the middle of the path, and once again this bit of track is totally exposed, and presumably walked on by dogs and people all day long. Pic has no ants but there were coconut Ants present on this bit of their track, just disappeared for the photo!
