Author's notes

This appears to be a juvenile red necked wallaby. It was observed immediately behind the residential properties bordering the Oakey Hill nature reserve. I suspect this is an individual that I observed on the hill a couple of weeks ago. It was my impression that it was a dependent juvenile but appeared to be in poor condition and there was not an adult in sight. I had previously observed an adult red necked wallaby on Oakey Hill. I do not know whether that individual and this one are related.
