Author's notes

Plant a bit over 30cm high. After consulting David Jones' paper describing this and tadgellianum, I think this plant is sphacelatum due to the sparser flowers. I didn't think to measure flower size, but these 2 plants seemed to have fewer, sparser flowers than any of the many tadgellianum I encountered.
