User's notes

Both male and female chewing bark at hollow. Both went half way down into hollow (photos 2 and 4). A male gang gang from a nearby nest hollow tree came over, there was some calling to and fro, he flew back to his nest tree and all three of them flew off towards houses a few minutes later. This is probably the pair that was the subject of sightings on 8,9, and 10 January at the adjacent tree. It looks like they had a problem with their nest site for this season and are trying to find another one.
