Yes starting to see more of this species and other Cenchrus too. Maybe due to changing rainfall patterns - dry winter-spring - warm spring-hot summer and thunderstorms?

Decided to dig out and collect seed. Follow-up spot spraying will be needed at end of summer or next summer. About 50 plants and they were starting to spread up the street so good timing with the observation.
