Its a hard life when you have to climb power lines. This is a terrific record given how rare these goannas have become in the ACT region. Well done! WillO.

Hi Lee, There have been only two other wild V varius reported in ~ 20 years and one of the others was near this sighting, at Nanima. You may have the last population in the region of what was a relatively common species until the mid 20th C.
