User's notes

This species utilizes natural hollows to amplify its song. This also makes it quite hard to track down, as its song gains a ventriloquist-like quality, making it difficult to estimate how far the singer is and where it is located. This was the most common singing insect I heard around ACT.

The song is fairly generic for the family -- a continuous trill without pause.
