Crop absolutely bulging, presumably from a rabbit kill made earlier in the day. Looks like breeding season is drawing to a close and normal hunting territories resuming.
Thanks Roy - Unfortunately the nest of the Black Mountain pair (of which I am pretty sure this is the female) got blown out of the tree and the egg broken, in the storms of two weeks ago. So the appearance of the female on Red Hill does seem to co-incide with the end of breeding.
