ID by Dr Robert Mesibov. His comment: "Another Polydesmida: Paradoxosomatidae. It was a male, too (gonopods just visible), and could probably have been ID'ed to species if the specimen had been taken. Citizen science imaging is fantastic when the species are well known and readily identifiable, and incredibly frustrating when the species require close examination of mature males." Probably wouldn't mess up its day too much if I pulled these things out for a minute to photograph them from more angles. I tend to try and not disturb them, That might help. Don't think Id be savaged by a millipede.
