Possibly a species of Austropaxillus, i'd prefer to see a more mature specimen as I suspect this looks to be a brown spored fungus but I'm not sure. A better view of the gills of a fully expanded cap would also be helpful.

Thanks Ken for the several identifications of fungi I posted. I am afraid that my camera gear was not sophisticated enough to get good clear close-ups of some of the smaller specimens.
