This is a new location for this keystone species.

User's notes

I did the crush test and the ant smelt of coconut.......... on the slopes near the Murrumbidgee River half way between Pine Island and Point Hut Crossing.

Visited this colony yesterday with Suzi Bond and Michael M. The colony appears to be in a state of decline, with meat ants and sugar ants encroaching their space.
