The terminal pair of dorsal red glands suggests Lymantriidae,
but the only Lymantriid caterpillar that I know that is plain brown with
neither dorsal tussocks nor a pair of hair pencils is Leptocnaria reducta.
Is there a White Cedar tree (Melia azedarach) within 20 metres?
