User's notes

Location is approx. My camera does not have GPS. I think this may be a Bellid, with the snout tucked in. I can't place it to anything else.

Thanks RogerF for the family id, it looks very much like Agrilus (Agrilus) australasiae https://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:afd.taxon:78e2b004-554d-4add-be35-35752f904a29#overview

I haven't had time to check through the Agrilinae but Kim Pullen has more knowledge of the these Buprestids.

Agrilus australasiae and A. hypoleucus are very similar, but the latter seems to be the more common species in our region.
