I don’t really know. It does not look like Crepis, which has usually has a lot more flowers per plant. Crepis capillaris has hairless stems and leaves. The stem of this plant looks quite hairy. I have looked through the possibles in Vicflora. Picris is a possibility, though not very likely. Unfortunately, the keys in both Plantnet and Vicflora require seeds to get an ID.

Betty, I had a look at some of the overseas descriptions and floras (eg http://linnet.geog.ubc.ca/Atlas/Atlas.aspx?sciname=Crepis+capillaris) the extent of the hairs on the stems seems variable. Even PlantNET in the description has "stems sparsely branched, hairs crinkly." I will post a closeup of the stems tomorrow.

I've compared these photos with mine for both Picris and Crepis, and it fits Crepis a lot better, in terms of the shape of the flower heads and bracts and the hair distribution on them. I'd go with Crepis capillaris.
