User's notes

A cluster of about 10 feathers or so. I was a bit puzzled until I saw http://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Sighting/3342813 Looks like one of Red Hill's Tawny Frogmouths came to a grizzly end. Might have an impact on breeding this year.

Fox? Feral Cat?

Yeah possibly. The shafts of some of the feathers seemed to have been raggedly cut/chewed off rather than plucked, suggesting a fox or cat.

I saw a white domestic cat hiding in a garden shrub the other day, looking to pounce on this small group of red rump parrots. No good, I chased the cat away.
