Not all that confident with the suggested id. Really need to also see images showing: the shape of the cap from the side; a view of the stipe and what the gills look like. Unfortunately all your images show the same view. In this case the Mycena suggestion is as much based on habit and habitat as on the fungal characters available in the images

Thanks Ken. Unfortunately many of my photos were taken years ago before I knew of, or posted to, Canberra Nature Map, so they were taken with my passion for fungi rather than with the intent of identifying them.
