This type seems to have much shorter hairs on the stems than others; I am not sure whether it is V. plebeia though.

I am basing this suggestion on: the leaves have blunt tips, but the base is not quite right for persica; and the long stalked flowers arising singly from the bases of the leaves.

Either V.calycina or V.plebeia, it makes no sense for this to be exotic.
