With all due respect, I disagree that this is Amphibolurus muricatus, as it is currently ascribed.
I reckon it's an Eastern Bearded Dragon (Pogona barbata) for the following reasons:
several distinct rows of enlarged, spinose scales on the flanks; rings of enlarged, strongly keeled scales around the base of the tail; transverse rows of enlarged, keeled scales across dorsum; a distinct row of enlarged scales across back of head; the belly is patterned with dark ocellate markings; the head is depressed; and there is a series of large, spinose scales above the tympanum, on the occiput and behind the angle of the mouth.
