H.bicolor has a dark greenish black appendage at the base of the labellum, slightly curved and rectangular shaped. In H. muticus the appendage is green. H. cycnocephalus has a dark greenish black appendage with a prominent beak pointing forwards giving it a triangular appearance.

Thanks Tony, that is a good explanation. I have uploaded three SLR macro photos. The last two look different, perhaps they are less mature?

On images 4 and 5 the labellum has been flipped. Image 5 shows the pollinia well.
