I cannot see any leaves that belong to the climber itself. On the climber, I presume I am looking at flowers that are almost over and pretty mature woolly seed heads.
I was thinking that the leaves in the right bottom corner of the photo connect to the stem that's going diagonally from right low to left higher. And yes, I would assume the same about the flowers turning into the woolly seed heads.
yes, most of the flowers have turned to woolly seed heads. In the close up photo all are leaves except for the large leaf bract on the LHS of the photo, which are from the plant this climber is climbing on.
