This is the first time this orchid has been recorded on Gossan Hill. The Black Mountain sandstone seems to be a national stronghold of this rare orchid

Budding, probably open in a week.

Its a very good year for them. Yesterday found several plants on the northern side of Black Mountain which were up to 35cm tall.
