This leaf shape is at the extreme end of the range. The leaves are usually much more dissected. See http://eol.org/data_objects/13263156 for a range of shapes.
It would be nice if you could take another photo when it is in full flower, just to be absolutely certain of the ID.

On second thoughts it is just as likely to be Taraxacum. Hypochaeris radicata usually has a rosette that hugs the ground.

Not Hypochaeris or Taraxacum. Can't remember the name but my neighbour has a good crop coming up so I will be able to see the flowers. Maybe Sonchus sp.

Hi. I have to agree with Mike, not Hypochaeris nor Taraxacum. I have lots of these coming up in my yard, (as well as dandelions).

From observation of plants in the Mugga Lane offset I now think it is young Lactuca serriola (prickly lettuce) before development of lobed leaves and spiny midribs.

With a namebto check, I was able to confierm from my favourite weed site. It was updated earlier this year and from memory now has an app.
