Craspedia variabilis is the common species at lower altitudes. The leaves and lower part of the flower stalk of that species are covered in long multseptate hairs (septa (bars) across the hairs can be easily seen, as least with a hand lens).

Either C.variabilis or C.paludicola. I'd say the latter if the given height value wasn't less that 10cm. For now this will remain at genus.
