I'm not convinced that this is a species of Artomyces. One characteristic of Artomyces is pyxidate branching. This means that a stem/branch ends in a disk-like to shallowly cup-like broadening and new branches develop around the rim of that disk/cup. From what I can make out, the branching is not pyxidate. Another point about the species of Artomyces is that they grow on wood. This fungus may have been growing from wood that is hidden under the grass/litter but at first glance this fungus looks to be growing from soil (as do the majority of coral fungi). If so, that's another point against Artomyces.
