User's notes

Very distinctive rough irregular gill edges, not sure if that is natural or the result of invertebrate grazing. Growing on ground.

A photo with good detail, but which leaves me puzzled for now. Hence, filed under Agaricales for the moment, with the expectation that it will be identified in the future.

The colour, size and the cap's soapy/greasy look make R. incarnata (or something akin) plausible. perhaps the gill edges have been eaten by invertebrates - but the gill edges of it (or at least cf. incarnata - see http://www.fncv.org.au/wp-content/uploads/publications/fungi_in_australia/fia-3-basidio-agarico-I.pdf) are "irregular, sometimes finely scalloped, or eroded".
