I think this is Goodenia hederacea. Velleia paradoxa has leaves at base not on the stem. If you give me the coordinates I can check it out as I couldn't find it.
You may well be right. It was much more upright than the other goodenias with fewer leaves, but could be the same species. Coordinates are 35 23 15.0409, 149 6 47.5309 - can be out by up to 10m so not sure if useful. I could probably take you to it if you want to contact me to arrange a time.
Hi I checked out that location a few days later and could not find that particular plant I only found lots of Goodenia hederacea scattered within the coordinates you gave. I did find a couple of upright ones when they had competition from close by plants.
