The thick Narrow leaves and long somewhat disrupted seed head are diagnostic. The patch I saw at Mulligans Flat was hairless, but I gather this characteristic varies from plant to plant. These are good photos to put up as the "type" photo - Thanks Michael
Thanks for the ID. I thought they might be Plantago gaudichaudii, but wanted to be sure. These are in a place where the Grevillea juniperina is spreading rapidly, and therefore seem to be vulnerable.
