Hi Michael. How can your tell the difference between Senecio bathurstianus, and Senecio hispidulus var dissectus?
   15 Sep 2014
Senecio hispidulus var dissectus is considered to be a synonem of Senecio bathurstianus. I don't know the differences between senecio hispidulus and Senecio bathurstianus, but I understand that Senecio hispidulus is a more montane species and in teh ACt is largely confined to the Brindabella and Senecio bathurstianus is a more lowland species

Thanks Michael. I have a sighting for Senecio hispidulus, Dec 2000, (I think I had it ID'd by ANBG). The leaves are different. See http://canberranaturemap.org/Community/Sightings/Details/13267
