Went back to the same spot today. The main plant seems to be completely gone/grazed by something that likes to eat spider orchids! :( Could only find this remaining plant which is starting to bud up now. Fingers crossed this one makes it.

Your id is probably correct. Unfortunately the rabbits like to graze on them.
