Is this a weed?

I see that Blackberry or Blackberries don't appear in the data.

Do you record weeds and introduced species?

This is definitely a weed, and a serious one. However there are similar looking natives. You can see Blackberries at:

We do all sorts of wild plants both natives and exotics.

It is a regionally prohibited weed in NSW. The recommendation is to contact the Regional Weed Control officer if you see it.

This weed has also been found in the ACT recently, and rangers have attempted to eradicate it. Michael Mulvaney asked me to keep a look out for it as it was reported and destroyed at Isabella Pond. The photos were imported from the Atlas of Living Australia in order to have them available on our website.
