several plants along this section of the fence line on either side (but really close to the fence)

Reputed to smell of chocolate, though I myself would not quite describe the smell that way. The other two species of Arthropodium in the area have anthers that are very hairy.

In my limited experience, the flowers smell more like chocolate scented hand cream. It seems more like the essence of the essence of chocolate...
